Terms and Conditions

Entry

Your registration form must reach us before the beginning of the course. The enrollment dates for each tutorial, workshop or weekend seminar are stated in the course catalog. For "compact courses" in accordance with the Law to Promote Employees Further Education - (paid) educational leave - you have to submit the confirmation of your enrollment to your employer at least 6 weeks in advance.

Payment

• by signing the direct debit authorisation on your registration card (debiting after beginning of the course)
• by cash or EC-Card (automatic bank draft) before the start of the course at Hansastr. 2-4. Note the above business hours.

Reductions

Please supply documentary evidence of your entitlement with your registration form!

Tutorial fees will be reduced by

• 50 % for persons in possession of the DO-Pass
• 25 % for students in educational- or vocational training, holders of the youth leader card, military and civil servants, persons doing a gap year, practical training or Au-Pairs.
• Holders of the RN-Card will receive a reduction for each tutorial and VHS-Gift-Voucher in accordance to the rules with the associate partners.

Those reductions apply to course fees only. Expenditure on material costs are exempt.

After your registration

You will not receive a confirmation of your enrollment (except if you have registered for an educational leave scheme). If you do not receive any notification, your booking has been accepted and the course will take place as listed in our course catalog. Every effort will be made to inform students in advance of any cancellation or alteration to a course.

Deregistration/Refunds

Deregistration have to be submitted in written form within seven (7) working days before the start of the course. Send to: VHS Dortmund, Hansastr. 2-3, 44137 Dortmund. There will be an administration fee of 7,50 Euros. Cancellations received after this period will not be entitled to a refund. The full amount of the course fee will become due.
